• The event brief you write, and the structured details taken from it.
• Your shortlist, enquiries and any messages exchanged with the booking desk.
• Your account details: name, email, organisation and optional phone number.
• Basic technical information needed to keep the service running securely.

To interpret your brief, source suitable talent, confirm availability and fees on your behalf, and keep a record of your enquiry so both you and the booking desk can see what was agreed.

Guest briefs and shortlists are stored in your own browser only. Nothing is sent to us until you create an account and submit an enquiry.

Only what is necessary to make a booking happen: acts, their agents or management receive the relevant event details when we make an enquiry on your behalf. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Briefs are processed by AI models to interpret requirements and identify candidate talent. Briefs are not used to train third-party models.

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated briefs and enquiries. Email privacy@showselect.co.uk and we'll action it.

Enquiry records are kept while your account is active and for as long as needed for contractual and accounting purposes, then deleted.
